Scope of Service

Services provided by Oscar Ring Heritage & Building Consultants are based upon visual inspection and professional opinion only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Limitations

Inspections do not constitute:

• Structural surveys

• Engineering reports

• Invasive investigations

• Specialist assessments

• RICS Level Surveys (unless specifically commissioned)

Hidden defects or inaccessible areas may not be identified.

Client Responsibility

Clients should obtain further specialist reports where recommended.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from services provided shall be limited to the fee paid for that specific service.

Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

Reliance

Advice is prepared solely for the instructing client and should not be relied upon by third parties.

Payment Terms

Fees are payable according to agreed quotations or invoices.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms apply once appointments are confirmed.

Insurance

Professional indemnity/public liability insurance details available upon request (only include if true).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by laws applicable in England & Wales or Australia (pick whichever business jurisdiction applies).

Disclaimer: Advise provided is based solely on a visual inspection of accessible areas at the time ofinspection and does not constitute a full structural survey, engineering report, invasive investigation or specialist assessment. Hidden defects, concealed elements, future deterioration, ormatters outside the scipe of inspection may not be identified. Clients are advised to obtain further specialist reports  where appropriate. Any recommendations are given in good faith based on observations availabe at the time. Liability, where legally established, shall be limited to the amount paid for the service provided, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. No responsibility is accepted for defects concealed by finishes, furnishings, stored items, or inaccessible areas. This service should not replace a RICS Level survey, structural engineers report, or specialist.  investigation where significant concerns exist.
